So I've just remembered that I started this 'blog' But haven't made another entry since lol..really slack of me I know. Now, things have been a bit slow on the photography side of things of late. I recently...well 3 months ago ...moved back to Adelaide from Queensland and its been a rough few months getting back on my feet again. In that time I lost one of the most special people in my life, my grandmother. Her passing was expected and i made it back to Adelaide just in time. I was by her side through the last few hours of her life, and it was one of the hardest things..no...THE hardest thing i have ever experienced in my life. The time came where her house and belongings needed to be sorted out. She was a keen knitter and had so much wool there my mum didnt know what to do with it all. There ended up being a big green garbage bag fool of all sorts of wool. Some stuff that i really couldnt use and lots that i could. Its really made me pull my finger out and get back in to my crocheting again. I only started teaching myself about 8 months ago, through youtube, but with the move it kinda went by the wayside. Stocked up on a few patterns the other night and here is what i have so far

Then there was this one. And I must say it was a lot harder for me to do this one. I have a bit of trouble doing flowers and this one has lots of little ones stacked on top of each other...rather fiddly for me :/
This one is called 'Lavender Fields' and i found the pattern through http://www.facebook.com/AmbassadorCrochet The original pattern was done in purple...hence the 'lavender' but I didn't have purple so I improvised ;)
